Evlon Pharma is a pharmaceutical wholesale distributor that imports a wide range of healthcare products.
With the rapid growth of our company, we are looking for a Key Account manager to join our expanding team. We are looking for an ambitious individual with an entrepreneurial mindset who can drive sales, quality and, compliance through the business.
As the Key Account manager, you will be a key member of the team, working closely with the directors and our partners to ensure the company always maintains the highest possible standards. Key to our success will be your ability to work strategically, develop a robust account-based marketing plan, and have an in-depth knowledge of PCN regulations.
- Engage target Physicians and/or target pharmacies to generate awareness and promote Evlon Pharma products.
- Engage with target Medical Associations with a major focus on medical education and customer relationship.
- Develop business relationships with target physicians/pharmacists by bringing in new businesses and, retaining and improving existing clients
- Achieve Target Account sales objectives in line with the Evlon Pharma’s overall compliance policy, through:
- Implementing business and sales plans at the territory level and providing the organization with field information
- Ensure territory and administrative systems (CRM) are maintained and updated to confirm an accurate record of the territory is always available
- Become the Evlon ambassador for the customers.
- Proactively implement and update a personal development plan to develop him/herself further within the role.
1. Business knowledge
Obtain knowledge of the external and internal environment to enable the design and implementation of territory sales plan to achieve business objectives:

A. Company products, strategies, skills, and organization
- Understand the company’s regional and territory’s business objectives and strategies through participating in Cycle and Sales Meetings
- Continuously update the current medical and promotional knowledge of the products following the determined learning objectives via training, literature, internal memos of the concerned products
- Continuously improve sales, communication, and technical skills.
B. Customer needs and interests
- Inquire about customers’ potential needs, attitudes to treatment, preferences for drug treatment, response to heel activities.
- Establish and develop a professional relationship with customers.
- Build a constructive and effective external network.
C. Competitor Insights
- Provide updates on the most important competitors, products, and activities to the company.
- Positioning of competitors' promotional products in the territory, their organizational structure, and strategies, their weaknesses and strengths, customers' reactions to their activities.
D. Colleagues’ activities
- Close cooperation with the reporting line manager of the region/company as applicable.
- Share information with other representatives to enhance market knowledge.
2. Strategy Development in collaboration with Supervisor/ Line manager
- Analyse and provide feedback on available information concerning the territory.
- Proceed to analysis to identify the key success factors for achieving the sales objectives in the respective territory
- Classify the customers following different criteria and receive information to segment the territory in target groups and to clean up the files of target groups regularly
- Fix specific objectives for the different segments and target groups and set priorities
- Evaluate and interpret sales results of own products and territory
- Evaluate all activities based on ROI
3. Strategy Implementation
- Execute the Sales Action Plan
- Execute the visiting plan to determine targeting, coverage, and frequency targets
- Build relationships with target customers to gain product endorsement to generate sales
- Manage multiple tasks and projects at the same time following the deadlines and objectives as stated in the Sales Action Plan
- Provide the customers with the needed information and services
- Transmit visit reports daily via Evlon platform.
- Give complete, comprehensible, and accurate feedback containing all significant events in the territory (customers attitude, competition activities)
- Openly share information with the other representatives, Sales Manager, Line Manager, Product Manager
- Active participation during the Sales meetings, Cycle meetings
- React timely and promptly via mail on questions and answers
- Inform Regulatory Affairs Department about side effects and notify Medical, Scientific & Educational Department on time.
4. Territory management
- Targets Medical Doctors and Pharmacies calls, Medical Associations, and product sales
- Organise & attend a fixed number of “events” focussing on the company’s strategic intent
- Act in line with the principle “I am the manager of my region.
Level of education: Graduate level Higher Education in any of the following areas – Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical, or Biological sciences.
Experience: Preferable 1 - 3 years’ experience as a medical representative within the Pharma market and OTC business and experience working with key decision-makers
IT Skills: Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Teams) and the ability to learn and understand other company systems.
Languages: Fluent in English enabling understanding of scientific literature and basic understanding of the language of the territory.

- Develop an intimate knowledge of company brands, values, positioning, and target consumers
- Demonstrable experience in working decisively in a team, fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Analytical and readiness to go beyond the numbers to find the real insights at key accounts that will be the key to growing company brands with customers
